【Review】iPad Pro for Photo and Video Editing

 When you start a photo or video, you will need a device to edit and manage what you have taken. In this article, I would like to introduce you to the fact that iPad Pro is extremely convenient and has a high cost performance.

 I am actually using it and am very satisfied with it. Especially since iPad OS was released in September 2019, it became possible to exchange files as on a PC, and it is even more powerful than ever.

 So, let's see the datails.

 The latest model is about 470 g for the 11-inch model and about 640 g for the 12.9-inch model. It's very light, so you can easily take it out.

 It's incredibly useful once you experience it so that you can check the pictures you onsite on a beautiful display. Also, in my case, I often develop RAW pictures on iPad Pro while watching the scenery of the subject on the spot, which broaden the range of works.

 I think you can feel this immediately after using it. The specially designed CPU is extremely powerful and works well with the dedicated OS and applications, so you can work more comfortably than most of today's laptopas.

 In my case, I use it for RAW development in Lightroom and rendering 4K video in LumaFusion, but it is very stable in operation and I can not say anything.

 Especially for rendering movies, the speed is fast, so when preparing a PC with such specifications, it is necessary to prepare a high-performance CPU, large capacity memory, SSD, graphic board, etc., and I do not know how much it will cost.

 It's no wonder why this little body accomplishes this, but it's just amazing.

 Many tasks that previously required a PC can be completed with this one unit. It depends on how you use it, but it's really amazing that you can get the above-mentioned items for about $1,000. Also, since there are many apps, the extensibility is not comparable.

 It is an important task to adjust the color tone in editing photos and videos. That's because the appearance will be different depending on the monitor. The iPad has a very clear monitor, and many people often see works on Apple devices, so you don't have to worry about that very much.

 There are many other appealing points, but I gave the reason why I recommend it specializing in photo and video editing.z

 iPad Pro is available in 11-inch and 12.9-inch monitor sizes. In addition, each model has 4 types of storage capacity (128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB).

 First is the monitor size. 11 inches weighs about 470g and 12.9 inches weighs about 640g, so we recommend 11 inches if you often bring it out.

 On the other hand, 12.9-inch is said to have a very high workability due to its large screen, so if you use it instead of a PC at home, you may choose this.

 Next is the storage capacity. If you want to edit videos, remove 128GB from the options. If you only edit photos, you can use it, but when you handle RAW images, they fills the storage up quickly, so you have to back up frequently, which is a little inconvenient. I recommend 256GB, which offers a good balance between price and convenience.

 Next is a video editing application. Introducing an app called LumaFusion. Although it is a paid app, there is no other app that can edit 4K videos stably so far, so it is highly recommended. The price is also overwhelmingly cheap compared to video editing software that can export 4K for PC.

 The following are recommended accessories. I will list them in order.

 First of all, this is an accessory for transferring SD card data to iPad. This is for USB-C. There are third party products that are cheap, but I use genuine products because they handle important data.

 Next is the adapter required when backing up data to an external HDD or SSD. With this, you can operate comfortably even with a small amount of storage.
